This update adds a new feature, geofencing, as well as minor improvements to SentryPC's overall operation.  Geofencing allows you to create a virtual fence around a 'home' location/address with a distance you specify.  SentryPC will use the location services of the computer to create alerts when the computer enters/exits this fence.  You will also have a constantly updated current location of the computer when this feature is active.  We highly recommend you upgrade all of your current installations to this version to take advantage of these changes.

We added a few security options you can enable/disable in your settings now.  Clipboard activity (copying to the clipboard) is also logged now with this version and will show in your clipboards log.

We now have a Mac version available!  Just choose what operating system you want to download in your online account.  Your online account will not change in any way other than the fact you can now monitor, filter, and control computers running either operating system.  Mix and match your licenses between them any way you want.

We also released version 4.26 for Windows.  This update is required to use the new category filtering options we have added.  To take advantage of these you must update your Windows installations to this version.

This update fixes a lot of the 'rarer' bugs that not everyone was experiencing.  We spent a decent amount of time recently tracking these down and working with customers who experienced them to figure out the cause.  Keystroke lagging, for those who experienced it, should be non-existent now.  Time accuracy was improved for timestamps of all logs.  Screenshots were tweaked and enhanced for better overall operation.  SentryPC is also Edge Chromium compatible (the new version of Microsoft Edge browser).

This is a small update with some internal improvements to operation and some minor bug fixes in regards to application and website filtering.  It is important that anyone running any version below 4.2 currently updates their computers to this latest version.  Please see the notes regarding the 4.2 release below.

We released an important update today affecting Windows 10 users.  Due to recent changes with Windows 10 some inner workings and logic needed to be tweaked with SentryPC.  We highly recommend all users update to this new version.  More information about this release can be found in your online account.

We have added quite a few changes to your online account today.  Changes include more charting options, new activity reports, user 'drill down' selection on all log pages, 'type' selection option on the real-time events viewer, and more.  Please login to your account and view the changelog for more details on the new changes.

This small update adds the ability to prevent users from copying files.  You can find this new setting in your 'Security Options' page.

This update is a culmination of enhancements and new features including the following :

• Portable Drive Logs
  We now detect when any portable drive is being used on the computer and record a log of when it is detected.  This is especially useful for seeing when thumb drives are being used, but includes any 'portable' drives.  In conjunction with this we improved the logging of file activities which occur on portable drives.
• Clipboard Logs
  The clipboard is what Windows uses when you copy/paste content.  We now record a log of all text copied to the clipboard along with the computer name, username, date/time, the Window title it happened, and the actual contents.  You can view the contents of the clipboard by expanding it with a button similar to how the keystroke logs work.
• Create Charts
  This page allows you to create custom graphical charts using the date/time range, computer selection, user selection, and chart type options.  You also have various download options and the ability to print the chart as well.  For now we have basic chart types listed, but plan on expanding this to more chart types in the future.
• Improved Website Logging
  Some enhancements have been made to website logging which will make it operate more smoothly and with better performance.
• Improved Lockout Feature
  Previously when a user was locked out of the computer due to time restrictions the desktop would be locked down to prevent usage.  Now, the user is logged out of Windows.
• Internet Connection Logic Improved
  We improved the behavior of SentryPC when there is no Internet connection available to handle unique situations that may come up.  In short, should your Internet be disconnected or not available for some reason SentryPC will 'start up' as normal shortly after the Internet comes back.

We have made enhancements to file logging along with minor optimizations to overall operation.  This is a recommended update for all users.

We have added details to all filtered website entries in your account so you know what category caused the block or if it was one of your own custom filters that was triggered.  Along with this we have improved language support as well as other minor internal enhancements.  This is a recommended update for all users.

The initial 'startup' of SentryPC has been optimized for enhanced functionality.  While you will not notice anything different we still highly recommend updating your current installations to this release.

An 'adult' website filtering category has been added.  You can also test domain names from the category filtering page to see if they are listed in any categories or not.  We have also corrected an issue where custom filters would not take precedence over category filtering in some cases.

Minor enhancements have been made to content filtering for better overall operation.

We have changed screenshot logging to always recorded the entire desktop screen.  Prior to this version you may have noticed only the 'active' part of the desktop was recorded.  Enhancements were also made to the upgrade process.

This minor update adds support for Microsoft's latest web browser, Edge, which is bundled with the Windows 10 operating system.  Current users can update at any time by logging into your account and downloading the new version — updates are always free!
